Through the process of oxidation, oxygen starts the process of burning glucose and fat to supply electricity and heat in the body. Although this process is inevitable and natural that gives our body needs energy, the oxidation process creates several byproducts that have negative effects on our body.

During the process of oxidation, highly reactive byproducts called free radicals are produced. These free radicals act on other molecules, free radicals such as yourself that disrupt their normal function. This could lead to the destruction of cells, tissues and even cause degenerative diseases such as cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis, among other things.

Oxygen damage to their cells results when many free radicals in the body. The researchers found that such damage may be partly responsible for the consequences of aging and certain diseases.

There are certain substances in foods that may play a role in protecting against this damage. Fortunately, the body is prepared with a natural defense against these harmful free radicals.

Antioxidants are chemicals found naturally in fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants act of free radicals, its implementation and neutralize them to stop the damage to healthy cells in the body.

What are the effects of antioxidant plant? Among the many plants that have disease-fighting antioxidants is Camellia sinensis, also known as tea plants. For centuries, tea was served in Asian households as a healthy drink to promote health and general well-being. Green tea has been particularly strong, due to their incredible service many health benefits.
